This was a very nice ride. Next to the Ocean the entire way. Akashi is a small town but it is very pretty. Like Osaka, I again stayed at a business hotel for 5000 yen.(50 dollars). I went down to the beach and I couldn't believe how warm the water was. I got in.

ReplyDeleteThis looks so beautiful and peaceful. I can see it being one of the favorite parts of your ride. You should ride in Holland sometime. There are of course loads of bikes there. I like the bike "streets" there. The flowers? I'll check. The first one looks like a gladiolus. That doesn't look like the correct spelling. Anyway, I have a pen pal in Kyoto and a friend in Shibu, I don't remember the rest of the name. She used to live in Sapporo but her and her husband moved. She was an exchange teacher who stayed with us when we lived in Indiana. Thanks again for blogging. The pictures are beautiful and your experiences are interesting. I've never been to Japan and no I did not enlarge the picture to look at the bug! Take care.
